ERROR.ERROR

Combining electro synths with fast punchy guitar riffs create the sound that is Bristol based band ERROR.ERROR. Make sure to keep checking up on their Myspace as they are currently in the studio recording new material. They sound like The Rapture Vs Shit Disco Vs Gang Of Four Vs Crystal Castles caught up in a bloody fight between godzilla and your old sega mega drive.

"WE TAKE PRIDE IN... hideous fashion, guilty pleasures and rock and roll, add jonny strum strum and the twang man and we can begin to DANCE, DANCE, DANCE... As thats the gifts of kings. 'Lets make music he cried' and they did. We shall add the love of song writing and the love of a catchy hook, wrap it all up in a filthy fur coat and try and sell it back to you for twice the price.

ERROR.ERROR powders there song's with film and cultural references to the modern life. The jokers, the players the creatures and there makers... We shall play and we shall be MIX AND MATCHING, shifting and sorting the emotion and energy in a set to make you happier than a child with a guitar."

ELECTRIC CITY

This week KILL THE MACHINE!! Brings you some Alternative tunage.

If you like your Pop/Disco House then you will love Friendly Fires. Check out their Myspace as they are about to start a UK tour at the end of January! Heres my favorite track of theirs at the moment.

Next up are the duo that brought you that wicked remix of Justice's D.A.N.C.E. This time MSTRKRFT have made an edition to Death From Above 1979's track Little Girl.

I've never really been into or touched Disco/Pop but as soon as i heard this song by Cut Copy my head has been turned.

Nobody Lost, Nobody Found lead me onto finding such artists as Fred Falke and The Whitest Boy Alive. Pretty much everything Fred Falke puts his finger on turns into smooth french disco gold. Check out this Hot Chip remix of his.

As for The Whitest Boy Alive this track is perfect for late night drives home gliding past city lights.

I used to be well into Crystal Castles when they first came out. I've kinda forgot about them for awhile since they've not put out much new material. This is a really good remix by Nasty Nav of one of they classic tracks Vanished, brought back a few memories.

The Rapture haven't surfaced anywhere in awhile but i reckon we'll be hearing them sometime soon, hopefully. Heres one of my personal favorites of theirs.

BASS MONSTER

KILL THE MACHINE!! Brings you music from the underground dance scene, first up is the man that helped me find the sound that smashes my bones to pieces with a HUGE FILTHY ELECTRO HAMMER, The Proxy.

Imagine a giant purple monster munch stomping his massive feet through NYC ripping buildings apart with his hands DUR DUR DUR DUR!! Laser beams shooting out his eyes tearing up everything that stands before him. Armies of soldiers and tanks gunning franticly at him but everything just reflects and causes more chaos. This is the only way i can describe this quality tune.

I saw Boy 8-Bit at the Tube in Bristol and he was sick. Although highlight of the night for me came from resident DJ Stylatron when he played out Rico Tubbs - Gansters, what a tune!! Back to Boy 8-bit, this is in my top 3 favorite tracks of his. Its all about that jagged crunch that kicks in...

Alcohol, Drugs, Overdrive, Noise, Neon Lights, Party People, Revolution, Rave Is King. If you like Electro your going to LOVE Le Castle Vania. This guy is one to watch, his latest remix is an absolute banger of an Electro track.

These guys are in my top 5 set of DJ'S at the moments. Beni G and Plus One of Scratch Perverts have combined forces to bring you the sounds of Jack Beats. They have just remixed the lady that brought you Chi Ching! Lady Sovereign. This tune is seriously off the hook!

A Chainsaw Massacre right here for you, literally. One for all you Indie kids that just have to get there stomp on. Neo Tokyo Chainsaw Massacre remixed Foals - Electric Bloom, its now more of an Electric BOOM.
